As summer kicks off, Oscoda turns into an outdoor gallery during the
32nd Annual Art & Antiques on the Beach. Hosted at
Oscoda Beach Park on
June 27–28, 2026, this free event invites visitors to browse local art, handmade crafts, and newly added antique and vintage finds right along Lake Huron’s shoreline. The show runs
9 AM–5 PM on Saturday and
10 AM–4 PM on Sunday. New for 2026 is a dedicated antique and vintage section featuring curated dealers, collectors and upcyclers. Whether you’re hunting for a one‑of‑a‑kind piece or just soaking up the lake views, this weekend offers a relaxed, open‑air shopping experience.
Free concerts and beachside fun
If your trip falls earlier in June, grab a blanket and head to Oscoda Beach Park on Thursday evenings. The
Oscoda Rotary Bandshell Free Concert Series runs
mid‑June through mid‑August and features live music at 7 p.m. with Lake Huron as a backdrop. Bring a picnic or pick up takeout from downtown restaurants and enjoy the tunes as the sun sets. Between concerts, explore the shops and eateries in Oscoda’s small downtown or relax on the resort’s private beach.
Explore nature on the River Road Scenic Byway
For a day trip, drive west along the
River Road National Scenic Byway to
